Iowa City Parks & Recreation Preservation and Improvement Foundation

It is the mission of the Iowa City Parks & Recreation Foundation to maximize non-tax financial support of the facilities and programs of the Parks & Recreation Department of Iowa City by developing and promoting a broad program for private donations and public grants.

The Foundation serves the community by enhancing the quality of life for Iowa City area residents and visitors through the independent development, enhancement and support of parks, recreation programs, facilities and trails. This is accomplished through fund-raising efforts and an endowment fund.
